CBD Oil Extraction Process

Exact Nature’s CBD oils are made by extracting CBD from the hemp plant and then mixing it with a coconut-based MCT carrier oil, aka a medium-chain triglyceride (MCT) oil. In hemp, CBD is located in the parts of the plant above the soil line, which are the flowers, stems, and leaves, not in the roots or seeds.

Exact Nature’s CBD is extracted using an ethanol process which involves introducing the solvent ethanol to the hemp plant to extract the cannabinoids and important compounds. Unlike other extraction methods, ethanol extraction can produce cannabis oil with up to 99 percent purity, meaning a higher quality product than CBD oil extracted using other techniques. This requires soaking the hemp plant in ethanol and then running the liquid through the plant to capture the valuable cannabinoids and terpenes. These are then strained and heated using a specialized instrument. The raw extract is then developed into usable forms, like supplements and topical applications.

What’s the dosage for the oil?
For the Detox and Serenity oils, Exact Nature suggests taking a dropperful twice a day under your tongue, with food to maximize absorption. For Zzzs, one dropperful an hour before bedtime is suggested. Pro Tip: Take each dose under your tongue little by little, allowing it to absorb into your mouth, rather than swallowing it at once. This lets the CBD to more efficiently enter into your bloodstream.

Are Exact Nature CBD oils manufactured according to industry standards?
Absolutely. All Exact Nature products are manufactured, and certified, according to Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP). This means they are compliant with FDA regulations according to international CGMP standards.

Do the CBD oils work as well as softgels?
